At our community sauna sessions you can expect to sauna alongside up to 5 other people. Maybe you will know them and maybe you won’t. Connect with others as you wish - experiencing the heat together can foster some really great conversations! Move through the thermic cycle the way it feels best for your body. Experience hot sauna, cool water or air, rest, rehydrate and repeat. There is no rigid structure. A sauna guide will be present to answer any questions, tend the fire and be of support if desired.

When I (Jaclyn, the owner) was a teenager I went to a German sauna village and experienced all types of saunas and pools with people of every age and every gender completely butt naked!! While plenty of cultures around the world sauna naked, we are in the midwest and you know, public decency rules.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable getting sweaty/wet in. Some folks wear bathing suits while others choose light athletic type of clothing. Have something dry to change into afterwards or hustle home in your swim suit. Some folks bring a robe for afterwards. Some folks like sauna hats. You do you.

Renters- you can wear as little clothing as you want in the sauna on your own time - but you have to sit on a towel!

Arrive well hydrated and bring a full water bottle.

Check with your healthcare provider and do some of your own sauna research if you’re not sure sauna is right for you.

Come with an open mind of what the experience might be for you. Know others might be brand new to this or seasoned sauna goers.
