sauna + stargazing at The Octagon Barn - Sunday, May 18
Join Kindled at The Octagon Barn for an evening of wood-fired sauna sessions and stargazing with John Heasley of Driftless Stargazing.
Move through the thermic cycle of hot, cold, rest, rehydrate, repeat for a 75min session. Arrive wearing whatever you feel comfortable getting sweaty/wet in. Please bring two towels- one to sit on and one to dry off with at the end of your session. Bring a water bottle to stay well-hydrated! After, change in one of the on site bathrooms (m, w, and gender neutral available.)
John will be our guide to the colors of the sunset, Earth’s shadow and the Belt of Venus. As the sky darkens during the twilight, we will watch for the stars coming out and learn their names and constellations. We’ll have chairs, blankets, snacks and beverages to make constellation viewing cozy. Sunset is 8:21. Twilight ends at 10:21.
